Isabel Flores Hernández
Originally from Chiapas, México and currently based in Kansas City, Missouri. I graduated from the Chiapas Arts School with a focus on painting in 2023 while experimenting with different dry and wet techniques, mainly oil painting and watercolors. I also attended Arts Education as a part of my studies and as a result, I was able to teach classes in Visual Arts for children.
I have participated in collective exhibitions in México and US and attended a diploma course in Art Therapy.
Among my interests are studies regarding race, class and gender perspective, myths and legends of pre-Hispanic Mexican and Western culture and I have a deep love for dogs and cats.
I believe in artistic creation as a means of expression to connect and transform towards new possibilities.
